Job Summary">

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Seasonal Retail Store Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, working both independently and as part of a team, to positively impact the lives of others. This is a seasonal opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment and develop your skills in customer service, sales, and teamwork.

Responsibilities">

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and actively identifying and resolving potential service issues
  • Focusing on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items when needed
  • Accurately performing cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures
  • Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by store manager
  • Supporting opening and closing store activities when needed
  • Providing customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are fully stocked and operational while remaining current with all updated services and tools
  • Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of opportunities for growth and career development

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements">

Key requirements for this role include:

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Physical ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods, lift up to 35 lbs occasionally, and perform visual inspections involving small parts/details

Preferred qualifications include previous experience in retail or customer service settings and a high school diploma or equivalent.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including the estimated annual salary of $34,800 - $44,880, depending on experience, education, and location.
