Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Physical Therapy Assistant services in compliance with state regulations.
- Develop treatment plans based on initial evaluations and implement them as approved by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Report patient conditions accurately to coordinate care effectively.
- Communicate treatment findings and guidance to patients, families, and team members.
- Train patients and families in the use of mobility aids and assistive devices.
- Maintain comprehensive patient records, including treatment documentation and discharge summaries.
- Possess clinical knowledge and skills for treating diverse patient populations.
- Travel between facilities as necessary.
- Perform tasks within the scope of your training and according to established policies.
- Participate in team meetings and in-service training as required.
Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant License.
- CPR certification is mandatory.
- Must be energetic and a collaborative team player.
