Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and issuance of equipment and parts to plant operations.
  • Maintain a safe and secure warehouse environment, ensuring the well-being of employees and visitors.
  • Implement efficient inventory management practices, including periodic inspections and cycle counting.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and efficient storage layout for parts and equipment.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations.
  • Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse team, including receiving, tagging, shelving, and issuing of inventories.
  • Manage fuel, oil, lube, and grinding aid inventories, and arrange for prompt replenishments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum five years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, and inventory control, preferably in industrial facilities.
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office and experience with asset or maintenance management software systems (e.g., SAP, DataStream, etc.).
  • Effective communication skills, a continuous improvement mentality, and the ability to understand and satisfy customer needs.
