Steel Sorter

We are seeking a skilled Steel Sorter to join our team at Commercial Metals Company. As a Steel Sorter, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, operating production equipment, and participating in our CMC Safety Programs.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations and guidelines.
• Operate production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold the CMC Safety Culture.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Experience with metal sorting is a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to frequently lift 25 pounds or more and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Must be able to stand for significant lengths of time in an industrial environment with exposure to all elements of weather.
