Job Summary

Adecco is seeking a skilled Inventory Clerk to join our team in East Hartford. This is a temp to perm opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $17.50.

The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining a professional, clean, and organized work environment, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload, receive, and put away incoming product, goods, tools, and equipment
  • Accurately sort, label, move, and store items
  • Issue product, goods, tools, and equipment to site employees
  • Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records
  • Request requisitions to replenish inventory
  • Assist with inventory level maintenance and perform cycle counts
Requirements
  • 3+ months of relevant experience and/or training
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods in a warehouse environment
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
Work Environment & Physical Demands

The Inventory Clerk will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, requiring the ability to lift up to 25 lbs or greater with assistance. The role may involve extended day, evening, and weekend work, with overtime required as job duties demand.
