Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Finance Director to oversee financial operations for multiple manufacturing sites on the West Coast.

This role requires hands-on involvement with credit management, budgeting, forecasting, and other critical financial functions, ensuring a consistent process across all facilities.

This individual would be expected to travel to each location once a month.


  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, preparing necessary supporting documents for corporate consolidation.
  • Hands-on management of the monthly inventory process, to ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory control.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly reports, including sales reports, units, rebate accruals, quarterly payouts, job cost summaries, and variance analyses (estimated vs. actual).
  • Work with operations to identify, track, and analyze key cost metrics to improve efficiency and drive cost reduction initiatives across the organization.
  • Lead monthly performance review meetings with site GMs to review financial results, providing management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress toward various business initiatives.
  • Lead the management of CapEx projects for various locations, ensuring proper justification, alignment with budget, and successful execution.
  • Partner closely with HR to manage specific operational processes, including payroll-related expenses, benefits, and other employee-related costs.
  • Partner with Finance Shared Service team covering AP/AR/GL Accounting to support month end procedures, tax filings, and credit management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent; six to eight years related experience and/or training; extensive knowledge of accounting and financial management in a manufacturing environment required - printing or packaging preferred.

Must be computer literate and able to utilize Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Access, at the level of an Advanced User.

Experience with strategic planning and financial analysis.

Proven track record in driving financial performance and efficiency.
