This position requires adherence to safety protocols and ensuring that all transportation vehicles are maintained in optimal condition and meet regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform thorough inspections of vehicles before, during, and after transportation.
- Verify that all necessary permits and licenses are current prior to commencing trips.
- Ensure proper restraint of individuals in custody and maintain accurate documentation.
- Adhere to safety guidelines throughout the transportation process.
- Respond effectively and swiftly in the event of emergencies.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Passenger endorsement.
- Completion of a certified driver training program is essential.
- Certification in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military service is preferred.
- Successful completion of company and Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing.
