This role is part of our Production team on 1st shift, working Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm CT. As an Assembly and Packaging Specialist, you will be responsible for packaging packets and boxes based on information received from warehouse sheets while ensuring the accuracy of packaging lists and items included in shipment.



About the Role:



  • Interpret warehouse sheets for production of packets/magic boxes
  • Survey materials prior to assembly (kitting) to ensure all supplies meet minimum approved inspection standards
  • Use Excel spreadsheets to keep track of kitting projects and update as needed
  • Request additional materials when damages or shortages are identified
  • Work within a group setting to distribute assembly responsibilities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Interface with Team Lead to ensure inaccuracies and inequities are addressed and resolved
  • Responsible for proper maintenance of work area
  • Ensure accuracy of packing list and items included in shipment
  • Notify Team Lead and/or Supervisor upon project completion
  • Perform other duties as needed and directed by the Team Lead and Supervisor


Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic Microsoft Excel experience required
  • Prior warehouse and shipping experience preferred
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy of reports and data
  • Have good judgement and be proactive under challenging circumstances
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
  • Work well in a collaborative team environment

The estimated salary for this role is around $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
