We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technician CVOR to join our team at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As a Surgical or Operating Room Tech, you will play a vital role in preparing and caring for our surgical patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and prepare supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Prepare sterile instrument tables and maintain aseptic techniques.
- Assist in positioning patients and preparing their skin for surgery.
- Monitor and maintain sterile techniques during procedures.
- Pass instruments, sponges, and sutures to the surgical team.
- Assist in monitoring patients during procedures.
- Gather equipment for cleaning and sterilization after procedures.
- Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CAAHEP, NCCT, NBSTSA).
- BLS certification (American Heart or American Red Cross).
- Experience in hospital-based surgical tech preferred.
- Ability to perform physical demands of the role, including frequent standing, bending, and lifting.
