- Communicate Effectively: Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate communication of patient information.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on the latest medical research, technology, and best practices in home-based medical care.
- Education and Certification: Completion of a Nurse Practitioner accredited program and certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice and current, unrestricted NP licensure in the state of practice.
- Experience: 2+ years of clinical experience in primary care, home-based medical care, geriatrics, or palliative care.
