Mill Operator

We are seeking highly skilled Mill Operators to join our team at Entegee, a leading provider of custom automation projects and robotic solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various mill operations and quality assurance tasks under the direction of an assigned Mill Operator.
Responsibilities- Set up mills, rollers, and other associated components with precision and efficiency.
- Master the annealing process, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to specifications.
- Perform routine adjustments to mill and peripheral equipment, maintaining optimal performance.
- Conduct hardness tests at prescribed intervals and adjust annealing accordingly.
- Take periodic micrometer readings of strip material and record measurements.
- Use pin gauges and micrometers to measure ID and OD of tubing.
- Visually inspect welds by using a band saw to cut tubing.
- Perform post-tube manufacturing processes such as cutting, deburring, water testing coils, and re-cutting straight lengths off the mills.
- Record production records, including length, measurements, and material details.
- Strong aerospace milling experience, with a proven track record of high-quality work.
- Ability to set up rollers and other associated components with ease.
- Familiarity with the annealing process and ability to optimize its application.
- Proficiency in welding and basic mill operations, with a focus on precision and efficiency.
We offer a competitive salary range of $18.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide benefit offerings, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan. Our associates may also be eligible for paid leave, including Paid Sick Leave or any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable.
