Job Title: Swim Instructor

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Swim Instructors to join our team at the Pennsylvania State University. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching group and private swim lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities:
  • Instruct group and private swim lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students
  • Ensure the safety of students during lessons
  • Communicate effectively with students and parents
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
  • American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification
  • American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification
  • Completion of Penn State University Bloodborne Pathogens training
  • Criminal and FBI background checks
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
