Are you a physician looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience with independent medical assessments? We are seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at MRG Exams West.
As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing medical health records and performing comprehensive assessments on United States Veterans. You will also complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) through our secure web portal, documenting exam findings needed by the VA.
This role requires strong analytical skills, as you will need to find key data points within large electronic medical records and complete DBQs. Your typing skills should be excellent, as you will need to submit completed DBQs within 24 hours.
We require the following skills and qualifications:
- Current license as a Physiatrist
- Board Certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology
- Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
The estimated salary for this position is between $1200-1400 per day, with an average of 4 veterans assessed per day. This position pays between 1-2 days per month.
