About the JobThis is a per diem position that requires a high level of technical expertise in polysomnography recording and testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining testing parameters and procedures in conjunction with physicians and medical directors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in polysomnography and be able to evaluate sleep study related equipment and inventory. They will also be responsible for performing routine and complex equipment care, maintenance, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient testing modalities and treatment protocols, consulting with referring physicians and medical directors as needed.
- Evaluate sleep study related equipment and inventory.
- Perform routine and complex equipment care, maintenance, and repairs.
- Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events using professional guidelines and protocols.
- Demonstrate competence in assigned responsibilities and adapt assessment and treatment methods to meet unique patient needs.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- RPSGT certification from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
