Job Summary

LHC Group is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Walthall, Mississippi. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs, developing treatment plans, and providing interventions to improve patient well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient functional status and physical therapy needs
  • Assist physician in developing therapy plan of care
  • Observe and report patient response to treatment and changes in condition
  • Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and maintain maximum functioning
  • Instruct and inform healthcare team, patient, and family/caregivers regarding plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals
Requirements
  • Current Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle
