Job Summary

Nixon Peabody is seeking a highly skilled Practice Assistant to provide administrative support to our Litigation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing calendars, preparing documents, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage calendars and coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and other logistics
  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and staff, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling mail and packages
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
  • Assist with special projects and events, such as court filings and client meetings
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of firm policies, procedures, and software applications
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a law firm setting
  • Bachelor's Degree required; experience in lieu of degree will be considered
  • Notary Public certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other firm software applications
