Job Summary:

Dawn Foods is a leading bakery manufacturing and ingredients distribution company seeking a skilled CDL Class A Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for completing daily routes in a timely manner, prioritizing safety and production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obey all federal, state, and local rules and regulations of the road, including DOT operating and recording procedures.
  • Conduct daily face-to-face interaction with customers, representing Dawn Foods in a professional manner.
  • Break down product, shelf stack, offload with electric pallet jacks, and perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Collect invoice receipts generated from deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Class A CDL License in good standing.
  • Ability to work in the United States.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Minimum of 6 months Class A Commercial driving experience.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
  • Experience delivering into food service accounts is preferred.

Shift Schedule:

Monday - Friday, with start times at 2:00am and end times at 4:00pm (until the route has been completed). Overnight routes may be required.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, as well as lifting 50+ pounds repeatedly. You will be exposed to a physical environment involving dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes.
