Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at PAM Health. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our physician team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat patients independently and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with the physician partner on patient rounding, admission, and discharge.
  • Ensure proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
  • Relies on education, experience, professional training, and judgment to accomplish responsibilities.
  • May lead and/or direct the work of others within the scope of practice.

Qualifications

  • Education and Training: The applicant must demonstrate successful completion of an educational program for physician assistants accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
  • Current unrestricted State license as a Physician Assistant.
  • Applicant must hold a valid and current certificate issued by the National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA) and must possess a current ACLS certification.
  • The applicant will submit evidence of continuing education (CE) as required by their state licensing board.
