Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sandwich Artisan to join our team at BFS Companies. As a Sandwich Artisan, you will be responsible for serving and adding value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Merchandising
  • Receive and verify deliveries to ensure accurate stock levels
  • Conduct daily bread counts to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Prepare food items, including bread and cookie baking, to meet customer demand
• Food Safety and Quality
  • Comply with food safety regulations and guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure customer safety
  • Maintain a clean and organized food preparation area, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Conduct temperature checks and record results as per company procedures
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
• Security and Loss Prevention
  • Take proactive measures to prevent theft and damage to stock and store assets
  • Follow company security protocols to ensure the safety of employees and customers
  • Secure cash and stock from loss or theft
• Cashier Operations
  • Count and reconcile end-of-shift monies and deposit in the safe
• Occupational Health and Safety
  • Follow established safety procedures to prevent injuries and ensure a safe work environment
  • Provide a safe and healthy work environment for employees and customers
• Personal Qualities
  • Maintain a high level of personal presentation and adhere to company uniform standards
  • Work collaboratively as a team member to achieve common goals
  • Complete training courses as directed by management to enhance skills and knowledge
