Position Overview

The Los Rios Community College District is seeking a highly qualified part-time faculty member to teach industrial maintenance and repair courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing students in various aspects of industrial technology, including technical documentation, industrial mechanics, and electricity.


Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct assigned classes in industrial maintenance and repair
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet industry standards
  • Maintain current knowledge of industrial technologies and best practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop articulation agreements and curriculum

Minimum Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree or higher AND two years of professional experience in industrial maintenance and repair OR associate degree AND six years of professional experience in industrial maintenance and repair; OR the equivalent*
  2. Evidence of equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students
