Job Title: Direct Care Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Professional to join our team. As a Direct Care Professional, you will provide assistance and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Transportation and support out in the community, including outings, field trips, medical appointments, and shopping
  • Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation and medication administration
  • Provide guidance on developmental goals, such as community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities
  • Support individuals with living skills, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
  • Assist individuals to redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Successful clearance of background checks
  • Reliable and responsible attitude
  • Compassionate approach and commitment to quality
