Educational Consultant for Student Success

We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy in Rochester, MN. As a vital member of our educational resources department, you will play a key role in promoting student well-being and academic success.

In this remote position, you will conduct regular assessments to evaluate students on cognitive abilities, academic skill, and social-emotional functioning. You will assist in creating intervention plans, standards for addressing social-behavioral concerns, and provide counseling and support to groups or one-on-one addressing emotional safety needs.

- Providing counseling and support to groups or one-on-one addressing emotional safety needs.
- Consulting with teachers, administrators, parents on student learning behavior management and creating a positive school climate.
- Working closely with special education teachers on cognitive abilities, academic skills, and social-emotional functioning to determine appropriate support systems.
- Monitoring progress and conducting ongoing evaluations towards objectives.
- This district will most likely be Grades 4-7th.
- Counseling or Crisis intervention duties.
- Testing and assessments.
- Knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations.
- Strong understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues affecting students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Master's degree in School Psychology, experience working remotely for student services, and School Psychologist Licensure. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and you must be able to pass a drug and background check. Our interview process includes a 10-15 minute screening call to verify qualification, followed by a 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with the school district, and an offer typically made within 24 hours of the virtual interview.
