Compassionate Speech Language Pathologist

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of healthcare professionals.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering therapy services to students with speech or language impairments, collaborating with teachers and parents, and conducting evaluations to assess communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver direct therapy to students with speech or language impairments in a home-based setting
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to understand students' strengths, interests, and needs
- Propose relevant Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and work throughout the year to help students achieve their goals
- Collect and summarize data on students' progress and draft progress reports as per district schedules
- Masters' Degree from an accredited university or program in Speech Language Pathology
- Current and unrestricted SLP license to practice in the state of practice
- Additional requirements vary by state and district (e.g., First Aid, CPR certification, mandated reporter training, child abuse clearances, criminal history background checks)
The estimated annual salary for this role is $77,500, depending on experience and location.
