We are seeking a highly skilled Process Technician 3rd Shift to join our team at Wise Plastics Technologies. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our injection molding processes.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate injection molding equipment, including robots and auxiliary equipment, to produce high-quality plastic parts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the molding process and equipment, and implement corrective actions to prevent future problems.
- Monitor and maintain production data, including process change, downtime, and setup time, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with quality technicians to ensure that all products meet established quality standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, including 5S standards, to improve processes and reduce waste.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Process Line Technician in injection molding.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, initiative, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and odor.
- IQMS/ERP system familiarity.
- Scientific molding and decoupled molding knowledge.
- Continuous improvement methodology and decision-making skills.
This is a full-time position that requires working a 3rd shift schedule. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and odor.
