Job Summary:

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to serve as a Team Lead in our East Boynton, FL center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management to technologists in assigned modality, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care:
    • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
    • Explain and prepare patients for CT imaging procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning patients for optimal imaging.
    • Perform routine and advanced CT imaging procedures on designated portions of the body, providing patient support and comfort throughout the procedure.
    • Adjust CT scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
    • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, customers, and other associates and peers.
    • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect patients, coworkers, and yourself.
    • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
    • Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
    • Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
    • Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting equipment after each use.
    • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
  • Team Supervision:
    • Assist in the hiring process for new associates.
    • Coordinate the training and onboarding of new associates.
    • Lead regular team meetings and associates one-on-ones.
    • Monitor and approve timecards.
    • Initiate and participate in performance reviews, development, and performance management of associates.
    • Develop associate schedules to provide for planned time off, ensuring adequate staffing levels and coverage.
    • Evaluate workflow and implement process improvements for the team.
    • Ensure team knowledge of company and department policies and corresponding procedures are in place.
    • Support associates in achieving the highest level of patient satisfaction.
    • Lead special projects and/or committees, as assigned.
    • Manage other departments in the absence of manager or peers, coordinating schedules for adequate coverage.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

This is a full-time position, working 7:30AM-4PM at our East Boynton, FL center. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of CT imaging procedures and patient care is essential, as is the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
