Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Analyst to manage key applications and deliverables while supporting audit and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements. This is a critical role that will report directly to the CFO and play a key part in ensuring the financial systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer various financial systems, including ERP and planning tools
  • Provide guidance and support to business users on financial systems and processes
  • Lead assessments, testing, and fixes during system upgrades and patches
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors on integrations, enhancements, and optimizations
  • Partner with Finance leadership and stakeholders to configure and support ERP systems across the company
  • Identify and implement process improvements through automation
  • Assist with audits and provide financial systems training and support to users
  • Create reports for finance, accounting, and operations departments
  • Manage user access and permissions
  • Responsible for identifying and documenting segregation of duties (SOD) and IT application controls
  • Participate in the planning, scoping, risk assessment, execution, documentation, and confirmation of IT General Control and IT Application Control testing
  • Perform and document user access reviews to deliver to auditors for SOX testing
  • Coordinate SOX-related activities between the SOX internal auditor, our outside SOX advisors, IT, and the external auditors
  • Identify mitigating controls and procedures to effectively mitigate deficiencies
  • Provide timely summaries and reports to the IT leadership team
  • Assist management with remediation plan development, execution, tracking, and support for control owners
  • Lead end-to-end walkthroughs to identify risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities
Requirements and Skills
  • Communication: Ability to synthesize requirements and produce well-written documentation
  • Financial systems: Understanding of processes, ERP, planning, analytics, reporting, system configuration, solution design, build, test, and implementation of ERP/financial systems
  • Problem-solving: Analyze data and draw sound conclusions
  • Accounting knowledge: Familiarity with GAAP principles
  • Collaboration: Work positively with team members of diverse backgrounds
  • Adaptability: Flexible and eager to take on new challenges
  • Time management: Prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure
  • Willingness to learn: Seek opportunities to expand skills and knowledge
  • Minimum Core Competencies: Respectful Leadership, Professionalism, Emotional Intelligence, Problem Solving/Critical Thinking, Communication Skills
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Information Systems, or related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis
  • Two (2) years of relevant financial analysis, accounting, and/or financial systems experience
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Familiarity with cloud-based financial systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
