Amentum is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to support the Field, Lab and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction (FLAIR) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations.

This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment FLAIR core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of FLAIR and its associated Managers and customers.

The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for supervising professional and paraprofessional engineering personnel, overseeing daily activities and assignments, and aiding in the formulation of overall department objectives, policies, plans, and programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and mentoring engineering personnel
  • Overseeing daily activities and assignments
  • Aiding in the formulation of department objectives, policies, plans, and programs
  • Providing technical and specialized functional services and recommendations
  • Resolving work problems and assisting employees in solving work problems
  • Administering personnel functions, including selection and placement, performance evaluations, promotions, salary adjustments, disciplinary action, training, and development
  • Maintaining working knowledge and capability to correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks of the supervised staff
  • Submitting cost reduction proposals, investigating proposals from other sources, compiling appropriate information, making recommendations for action, and checking on results obtained
  • Recommending measures to improve methods, performance, quality of product or service, and suggesting changes to increase efficiency
  • Supervising assembly of cost control and statistical data
  • Providing highly specialized applications and operational analysis
  • Experience in planning and supporting network and computing infrastructure
  • Knowledge in networking technologies
  • Cognizant, knowledgeable, and contributing to all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, modeling, simulation, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline, and 8 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience. Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance.
