Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Assist radiologists and other healthcare professionals in preparing patients for imaging procedures.
  • Position patients correctly for imaging procedures to ensure accurate and safe results.
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Develop and implement protocols for imaging procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an American Medical Association accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) credential by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
