Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-based systems and applications using Python and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Participate in software requirement reviews, preliminary and critical design, integration readiness reviews, and software acceptance reviews.
  • Research and analyze market requirements for products, including target environments, performance criteria, and competitive issues.
  • Interact with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organizational lines.
  • May have the opportunity to lead and provide technical guidance to lower-level software engineers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of related experience as a Software Engineer/Developer.
  • Strong experience with Object-Oriented Programming, including 4 years minimum experience with Python.
  • VMWare experience, preferably with ESX.
  • XML experience.
  • Windows and Linux programming experience.
  • General software testing and configuration management.
  • Experience working with Commercial Security Software/IDS.
  • Python Web Frameworks experience.
  • Database experience.
Security Clearance Requirement

Ability to remain stationary for extended periods (50% of the time) and operate computer equipment and office machinery.
