To be successful in this role, you should have:
A Master's degree in Early Childhood or a related field; a Bachelor's degree working toward a Master's degree may also be considered.
NYS Teacher Certification in Special Education, Students with Disabilities (Birth-Grade 2).
Experience working with preschool-aged children with special needs is preferred.
Physical ability to handle supervision of day-to-day activities, including running, bending, and lifting children.
Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication and motivation abilities.
