About the Role

Cox Automotive Mobility Fleet Services is seeking a skilled Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Mobile Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair various types of truck equipment, including electrical, brake, and cooling systems
  • Inspect and test equipment to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper functioning
  • Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure they are working properly
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's license and DOT Medical Card
  • Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary for the job
  • Ability to lift, bend, climb, stand, and walk for long periods of time
