The estimated salary range for this position is $68,640 to $80,000 per year, providing a competitive compensation package that reflects the value of your skills and experience.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Supervisor to oversee our distribution department and ensure seamless execution of logistics operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Meeting department and company goals on quality, yield, productivity, cost, and safety
  • Developing and training lead persons and employees
  • Reporting exceptions to the Superintendent
  • Monitoring standards and indexes to control area of responsibility
  • Ensuring safety orientations and meetings are held as required

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a good mathematical background to perform calculations and evaluate forepersons fairly and objectively.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent work experience (five to ten years) in the food processing industry
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good mathematical background
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods of time on a concrete/metal grate floor
