We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Alcoa. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Room Assignment and Management: Assign rooms to housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient and effective cleaning processes.
- Supply Chain Management: Partner with maintenance to ensure housekeeping supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular room checks to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
- Lost and Found Management: Maintain and log lost and found items, ensuring they are returned to their rightful owners.
- Security and Safety: Ensure all storage areas are locked and secure, and that housekeeping staff are aware of safety protocols.
- Time Clock Management: Oversee housekeeping staff's use of the time clock, ensuring accurate punches and attendance records.
- Linens and Supplies: Ensure adequate linens are stocked for housekeeping staff, and that supplies are ordered and maintained as needed.
- Training and Development: Assist in training new housekeeping staff, and provide guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Guest Service: Respond promptly to guest inquiries and complaints, and escalate issues to the General Manager as needed.
- Excellent Guest Service Skills: Provide exceptional service to guests, including honesty, a positive attitude, and a commitment to meeting their needs.
- Leadership and Management: Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and direct housekeeping staff.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effectively communicate with guests, staff, and management, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Physical Demands: Stand or walk for up to hours per day, and be able to lift and move objects as needed.
- Background Check: Pass a pre-employment national crime background check.
