We are seeking a dedicated individual to lead our Final Inspection Department. This role is essential for ensuring that our products meet rigorous quality benchmarks before they reach our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the final inspection department, including task assignments, time-off approvals, and performance evaluations of team members.
  • Conduct a diverse range of inspection tasks, ensuring compliance with vendor repair standards for engine/module subassemblies and components.
  • Ensure that all repair work aligns with technical manuals, operational guidelines, and engineering specifications, safeguarding the integrity of engine hardware.
  • Review technical documentation and service repair protocols to confirm adherence to established repair processes.
  • Validate forms, tags, and vendor serviceability according to prescribed procedures.
  • Perform necessary measurements during the inspection process.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, gauges, and measuring instruments to confirm their operational status and compliance with calibration requirements.
  • Execute visual and dimensional inspections of incoming and outgoing components to assess their serviceability or reparability based on approved technical data.
  • Occasionally assist in training, evaluating, and inspecting the work of fellow employees.
  • Maintain and archive all production and quality control documentation, including inspection reports and certificates.
  • Input various quality control data into the computer database.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in final inspection or a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
