  • Conduct evaluations, create plans, and oversee the implementation of occupational therapy techniques as prescribed by a licensed physician.
  • Administer therapeutic treatments and physical modalities aimed at restoring functionality and preventing disabilities resulting from injuries, illnesses, or physical impairments.
  • Engage in professional development and contribute to the growth and efficiency of departmental operations.
  • Provide supervision to occupational therapist assistants.
  • Mentor and guide student interns in their practical training.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an occupational therapist in an acute care setting.
  • Completion of an accredited degree program in Occupational Therapy.
  • Must hold a valid license from the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
