Job Title: Registered Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Cura LLC. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing the nutritional needs of our patients, initiating interventions to achieve and/or maintain individuals' nutritional status, and enhancing quality of life consistent with patients' goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients, staff, or consultants.
  • Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
  • Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem-solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.
  • Actively participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
Requirements:
  • Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
  • Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
  • Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
  • Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
  • Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field.
  • Experience working in healthcare or long-term care.
