Supplier Quality Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at Bestinfo Systems LLC.

Compensation: $90,000 to $105,000 per annum, plus an attractive benefits package.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that both customer and company quality requirements are met. This involves developing, implementing, and maintaining our quality assurance program, which supports the design, manufacture, procurement, and supply of items, services, and materials. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with specifications and standards, such as NRC, ASME, ISO, and customer contracts, to provide leadership to other members of the team. They will also interact with vendors, regulatory agency representatives, internal, and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the team to ensure high-quality products and services.
  • Collaborate with vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on quality metrics and performance indicators.
  • Participate in process improvements and continuous learning initiatives to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in the Nuclear Power Industry, Navy Nuclear, or other regulated industries.
  • Lead Auditor certification and Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt/Master Black Belt certifications are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
