Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing critical functions to assist the department in meeting the blood requirements of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform testing and provide blood products to meet patient needs
  • Work in accordance with the department's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Perform tasks with supervision and work as a team member in a busy laboratory environment
  • Receive blood products into the inventory, modify and divide blood products, and prepare batches of units for retyping
  • Participate in projects to enhance the Blood Bank and work independently towards completing projects within the assigned timeline
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical or biological science from an accredited college or university
  • Some laboratory experience preferred, but will train
  • Molecular experience preferred
