Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Asset Protection Manager to join our team at Southeastern Grocers. As a key member of our Asset Protection department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing asset protection programs to minimize shrink, associate and customer liability accidents, bad check and cash loss, and safety incidents for stores within assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and drive the company asset protection program for assigned regions, reviewing operational practices and ensuring the implementation of controls to minimize liability.
  • Provide guidance and leadership throughout all stages of internal theft and organized retail crime investigations, including overnight surveillance, covert camera installations, and interviewing of team members, vendors, and contractors.
  • Develop relationships and partnerships with asset protection vendors and command rank law enforcement officials to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
  • Manage response to critical incidents, conducting timely and thorough investigations and ensuring well-documented results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field, or at least four years of experience in asset protection/loss prevention, forensic accounting, auditing, or related field.
  • PC skills, including working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Hyperion and PeopleSoft.
  • Certified Forensic Interviewers (CFI)/Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE)/Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation.
Working Conditions

The employee will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with occasional travel to stores within assigned regions. The employee will be required to utilize a personal computer, telephone, printer, copy machine, facsimile machine, and other general office supplies and equipment.
