Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our expanding advanced wound care team. This role involves traveling with our mobile unit to various patient locations, including residences and skilled nursing facilities, to administer our specialized wound therapy for chronic, non-healing wounds. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Patient Care Team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive health assessments, documenting complete medical and psychosocial histories in the electronic medical record.
  • Record patient-reported symptoms accurately.
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations focused on wound conditions.
  • Make informed diagnoses based on examinations and diagnostic tests.
  • Administer advanced wound care therapies, including sharp debridement and application of amniotic allografts.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
  • Monitor patient progress to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies aimed at improving patient services and outcomes.
  • Travel up to 70% of the time with the wound care team using a company vehicle.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and valid driver's license.

Qualifications:
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey.
  • Preferred certifications in Advanced Wound Care and Advanced Wound Debridement.
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
  • Experience in wound care is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in debridement is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Compassionate approach towards patient care.
