About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Porter at dnata catering U.S. in Inwood, NY. As a Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to HACCP guidelines and company sanitation standards.
  • Comply with company implemented sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, including the HACCP Plan and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Clean and sanitize all interior areas within the facility and external property, including restrooms and areas of common personnel traffic.
  • Handle the disposal of all waste products, including international trash and garbage, in accordance with regulations.
  • Ensure that spills are promptly mopped up and floors are kept dry to minimize slips and falls.
  • Use proper detergents and degreasing solvents to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by unit Supervisors.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of cleaning experience.
  • High school or GED.

Working Conditions:

The essential functions of this position are performed indoors, with occasional exposure to loud noises. The employee must be able to stand, walk, reach, and stoop, and regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
