Cook Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at The Fowler Center for Outdoor Learning. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality meals and snacks to our campers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals and snacks for up to 140 people, following ServSafe standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient preparation and serving of camp meals.
  • Adhere to and prepare all special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and other special needs.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and maintenance teams to ensure the proper operation of all kitchen appliances.
Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • ServSafe certification or ability to attain once hired.
  • Effective skills in food preparation, storage, and presentation.
  • Ability to work various weekends throughout the season.
