Behavioral Health Specialist Job Description:

Company Overview:
Worcester RISE for Health is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing healthcare services to refugees and immigrants. Our mission is to eliminate barriers and help individuals achieve health equity and self-sufficiency.

Job Summary:
This position involves providing behavioral health services to newly arriving refugees and immigrants through various innovative modalities. The successful candidate will have a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field and at least 3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting. They will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure client safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to understand clients' unique needs and challenges.
  • Develop individualized wellness plans tailored to clients' goals and strengths.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support clients' mental health goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure client safety and well-being.

Qualifications:
  • State licensure or certification as an Independently Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician (LICSW, PsyD, LMHC, LMFT).
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting.
  • Experience working across multiple languages and cultures, particularly with refugees or immigrant populations.

Salary:$70,000 - $90,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.
