About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maternity Nurse to join our team at Providence Newberg Medical Center. As a Maternity Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care to mothers and newborns, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying and responding to any changes or concerns.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest maternity care practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Within 90 days of hire, National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification.
  • 1 year of nursing experience.
