Job Overview:
As a Breast Imaging Specialist, you will operate under the supervision of the Radiologist and the Lead Nurse at the Breast Center. Your primary responsibilities will include performing mammographic imaging and associated duties independently. You will utilize ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging while ensuring compliance with Federal MQSA, State regulations, and Joint Commission standards. Your focus will be on generating high-quality imaging results and managing relevant administrative tasks effectively.

Required Qualifications:
- Valid certification, license, or registration as mandated
- California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification (to be obtained upon hire)
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography (to be obtained upon hire)
- Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (to be obtained upon hire)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Mammography
- Knowledge of MQSA regulations

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Possesses all necessary licenses and certifications
- Has at least 1 year of experience as a radiologic technologist in a hospital setting
