About the Role

The Human Lactation Outreach Ambassador will play a crucial role in promoting the minor in Human Lactation at California State University, Northridge. This position will be responsible for scheduling and conducting outreach presentations to students, faculty, and staff, highlighting the benefits and opportunities available through the minor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and conduct outreach presentations to students, faculty, and staff on the minor in Human Lactation, including its curriculum, research opportunities, and career paths.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with faculty, staff, and students to promote the minor and its related programs.
  • Collaborate with the Human Lactation Academic Lead to develop and implement outreach strategies and materials.
  • Participate in campus events, such as tabling and presentations, to promote the minor and its related programs.
  • Provide support and resources to students, faculty, and staff interested in the minor and its related programs.
Requirements
  • Graduated from CSUN with a minor in Human Lactation.
  • CLE Certificate.
  • 1+ year of experience in making outreach presentations.
Working Conditions

This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC) and is a part-time position. The anticipated hiring range is $24.01 - $25/hour, with a full pay range of $24.01 - $46.32/hour. Time Base: Part-Time.
