Job Summary:

As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures. Working under the direct supervision of a surgeon, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe operating room environment, preparing and handling instruments and equipment, and assisting the surgeon during procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, including setting up and cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Assist the surgeon during procedures, passing instruments and supplies as needed.
  • Ensure the proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient procedure.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Experience in General, Total Joint, and Arthroscopic Surgery.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
