Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to lead our Design Studio Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the design process, ensuring high-quality services for our clients, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Department Strategy: Develop and manage the Design Department strategy, including department goals and objectives.
  • Design Center Management: Manage the Design Center, including onboarding new and innovative products.
  • Vendor Relationships: Communicate and maintain good working relationships with our vendors.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the Design and Project Development department staff.
  • Project Coordination: Facilitate project coordination meetings with our design and build teams.
  • Design Project Management: Manage the setup of design projects, scheduling and execution of site inspections, and development of design concepts and cost estimates.
  • Design Development: Direct the development of detailed designs and cost estimates.
  • Resource Library Management: Maintain the Design department resource library and update as needed.

Requirements:

  • Design Experience: 5+ years of design experience.
  • Residential Design Experience: 3+ years of residential design experience.
  • Management Experience: 2+ years of management experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Software Skills: Experienced with Chief Architect or similar software.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Criminal Background Check: Able to clear pre-employment checks.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $80,000-$95,000, depending on experience.
