Job Overview:
Position Title: Polysomnographic Technologist

Contract Duration:
13 Weeks

Work Schedule:
3 X 12 Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours:
36 hours per week

Facility:
Cambay Healthcare LLC

Essential Qualifications:
RPSGT Certification, BLS (AHA), and COVID Card

Experience Requirement:
Minimum of 2 years as a Polysomnographic Technologist/Sleep Technician

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and calibrate specialized sleep monitoring equipment.
  • Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients prior to and following the study.
  • Attach and detach sensors on patients before and after the study.
  • Monitor and record data from machines during the patient's sleep cycle.
  • Document observations regarding the patient's sleep patterns.
  • Analyze and score sleep studies, forwarding results to a sleep physician for interpretation and treatment recommendations.
  • Assist patients in understanding and implementing prescribed treatment plans.

Compensation:
$60.00 per hour

Educational Background:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Minimum of 1 year as a Polysomnographic Technologist (Required)

  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • RPSGT (Required)
