Job Overview:
Position Title: Polysomnographic Technologist
Contract Duration:
13 Weeks
Work Schedule:
3 X 12 Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours:
36 hours per week
Facility:
Cambay Healthcare LLC
Essential Qualifications:
RPSGT Certification, BLS (AHA), and COVID Card
Experience Requirement:
Minimum of 2 years as a Polysomnographic Technologist/Sleep Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and calibrate specialized sleep monitoring equipment.
- Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients prior to and following the study.
- Attach and detach sensors on patients before and after the study.
- Monitor and record data from machines during the patient's sleep cycle.
- Document observations regarding the patient's sleep patterns.
- Analyze and score sleep studies, forwarding results to a sleep physician for interpretation and treatment recommendations.
- Assist patients in understanding and implementing prescribed treatment plans.

$60.00 per hour
