We are seeking a skilled State Tested Nursing Assistant to join our team at IntelyCare. As a State Tested Nursing Assistant, you will provide high-quality care to residents in post-acute care facilities in the Ravenna, Ohio area.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to residents, including vital sign checks and regular reports to the nursing team.
- Observe residents' conditions and alert supervising staff to any concerns or emergencies.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as toileting, grooming, and feeding.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for residents, including changing linens and sanitizing surfaces.
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare staff.
- Transport residents safely and comfortably to and from exam tables, beds, and wheelchairs.
- Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
- Knowledge of medical terms and basic nursing care procedures.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals and residents.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
